Located in the heart of London's East End, The Backstreet opens from Thursday to Sunday every week, as well as running parties and special events. The club's dress code is among the strictest of its kind anywhere, earning it a dedicated following among rubber and leather men worldwide.

The rules are simple.

Black leather or rubber. Only.

No slacks, suits or trainers. There are never exceptions.

The Backstreet is a club for those who take pleasure in the ritual and eroticism of wearing leather and rubber. You will be refused entry if you do not wear appropriate clothes.

Changing facilities are available.

From leather chaps and a harness to a one-piece rubber body suit, from full motorcycle racing colours with boots to a rubber jock and thigh-high waders, The Backstreet is proud to have the most exacting rules in the world.

Membership
Membership costs £15 per year, and gives reduced-price entry every evening.  Membership is free to under 25s (with proof of age).

Parties and special events
In addition to its regular Thursday to Sunday opening hours, The Backstreet hosts a number of parties and special events:-

Heros - monthly event for guys in skintight gear - 1st Sunday each month, 6pm-10pm

Buff! - twice weekly naked cruise session - Wed 8pm-midnight and Sun 6pm-10pm 

BLUF - BLUF hold regular parties for members and their guests

Ignite - regular event on Friday night for men who smoke and those who admire them
